The PDF file for this RP includes links to example XML files, and schema definition files (XSDs). For these links to be functional there are two requirements:

1) The contents of the ZIP file must be stored on your computer, maintaining the folder structure (Extract All will generally do this)
2) Define a file association for .xsd files (your browser, as discussed below, is the recommended application; please consult the documentation for your operating system for instructions.

To view XML and XSD files, a variety of applications can be used. Most commonly available are browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc), which do a nice job of displaying the file, complete with color coding to make it easier to read. If a browser is not available to you, the files can also be opened in any text editor (e.g. Notepad, Wordpad, etc), but the contents of the file will simply appear as plain text in this case. A variety of other XML-specific tools, such as XMLSpy can, of course, be used as well.
